SanDisk Memory Stick Micro or M2 is the ideal memory card solution for Sony Ericssons new generation of slim line, multimedia mobile phones needing expandable storage for music, videos, and quality photos…. More >>

Works great in my Sony Ericsson W350a. I have around 1000 songs stored and still have a little room left. I wish I had bought an adapter so I could use a card reader. The phone is very slow. You have to load the Sony Ericsson Media Manager to get the drivers. Sony Media Manager for PSP does not see the device. I tried using Sony Ericsson Media Manager to move music to the phone but it is painfully slow. It took several hours to put 4GBs of music on the device and it missed several tracks. Instead I am using Media Jukebox and it works much faster and it sees all the tracks. It also will queue everything and transfer it all at once. So I suggest downloading the Sony Ericsson Media Manager for the drivers but use a different media program to transfer the files.
This item was ordered on the 2/14/2009 and was never delivered. Aparently this was sent again as it went “missing” somewhere along the line but still has not arrived six month later. Do not order from this company or you will most likely never recieve your purchase.
This thing is Big and works in my Sony Erickson w580. Just be sure to buy the Memory Adapter so you can plug it into your cmpter directly and not through the phone. It’s less than a buck and will save you hours of time. You won’t ffind a better price
There’s not much to be said here. This is a huge value for a huge amount of space on a cell phone for mp3s and pictures. Especially great for cameras with more than just 1 megapixel (mine is 3). When you get the adapter shell (for lack of the appropriate term) that lets you plug it into a normal size memory stick reader be sure to take it out of the envelope and put it into a memory card reader or somewhere safe! The adapter is very small and easy to lose and generally (with a card reader of course) its a much much faster way of transferring data. In fact a memory stick reader would be a good investment unless you’ve got a do-nothing job and need an excuse to watch 2GB of data transfer for an hour, in which case Bluetooth away!
Purchased this a few weeks ago, very pleased with the capacity. Works well in my Sony Ericson W760a phone.
The Good: large capacity, works in phone even though phone says max capacity of 4gb. Have not lost any data.
The Bad: This may be due to the phone, but the 4gb card will sync and load music without any disconnects. Once installed into my phone, syncing becomes a royal pain in the you-know-where. Frequently (from 2 to 25 songs into syncing) the sync software no longer sees the phone, although the computer does. Again, this did not occur with the 4gb card. Even tried putting the 4gb card back in, and it works like a charm.
The Work-Around: Purchased a Sandisk MobileMate Micro SD & M2 Reader (SDDR-121, Bulk Package)from JoWow here on Amazon. It costs $7.61 with shipping. The reader is extremely small. Put the 8gb card in the reader, then plug it into the USB port, then transfer of data/mp3’s, etcetera occurs at normal ‘reasonable’ speeds.
The reason for only 3 stars is due to the frustration with loading data via the phone’s USB connection. 8gb card disconnects, 4gb card does not.
I would recommend, but save yourself some frustration, and get the above-listed reader at the same time. My computer’s reader will not take either the M2 card or the ’special adaptor’ that came with my 4gb card.
