This is a great accessory for my Canon SD850 IS camera. The quality is superb.
When I was buying my Canon PowerShot SD1000 7.1MP Elph Camera which a friend had recommended to me, he also let me know and I am so glad, that the memory card on the Canon was merely adequate and that I would want to also purchase an additional memory card. This is the one I purchased.
I’m so glad he mentioned it because indeed I ran into that issue as soon as my camera arrived. I took the camera out with me and hit its max within fewer than 20 pix on my camera. Good thing I had already bought my memory card and it was on its way. Now I use both together all the time and never hit the max capacity on the card.
What is so great about this card is that I have taken literally hundreds of photos and captured some short video clips on my Canon with it, and I have never reached it’s capacity. I am not a technical whiz when it comes to electronics, so I could not tell you precisely how many pix you could take with a 4 GB card. That is why I provided the concrete example so you would know.
When you are buying a good digital camera, typically you do need to purchase a memory card. The SDHC is great.
