This is a great product. I bought it to replace the hard drive in my laptop. Easy to use. So far no problems found…..Highly recommended.
The difference between a Solid State Drive and a Harddrive is about the same as comparing a harddrive to an old floppy. The speed difference is amazing. Less power usage, no noise, but mostly UNBELIEVABLE SPEED.
I was kinda skeptical about SSD’s at first but now that I have it, i certainly don’t regret getting it. It’s the fastest thing out there and it allows my system to boot in less than a quarter of the time it used to take.
As an avid computer user and gamer, i can tell you there is a noticeable difference in speed. When playing games, the environment loads almost instantaneously.
I bought another one for my laptop and I used to worry that the hard drive might fail if I bump it or handle it the wrong way, the drive would die and I’d lose all my data. But now that I learned SSD’s are very durable (you can toss it across the room and it would not break, although i wouldn’t recommend doing that), I am no longer afraid to carry my laptop around more often. Another thing that I love about this is that it uses just a small fraction of the power a regular 2.5″ drive would use. On a laptop, this can greatly extend it’s battery life.
Overall this is a great product, and I recommend everyone to get one. The only thing that I wish was different was that I had more money to get more
I’ve been reading about solid state drives for the past year and have been waiting patiently for the price to drop. Although this item is priced nowhere near that of a standard hard drive, I had to get it. My boot times are 1/5 what they used to be and now I no longer have to worry about killing my hard drive if I nudge my laptop.

With no moving parts, this solid-state drive is really less fragile than other hard disks. I accidentally dropped it on the hard floor but it didn’t cry. More attractive to me, it is also silent. I can only hear the noise of the cooling fan; most important to me is that because there are no mechanical delays, so I can enjoy the low access time and latency. I bought one for my Linux.
